Moroccan Landscapes and Cityscapes.

From the Atlantic to the Sahara, from the straits of Gibralter to ancient adobe cities, from intense landmass distortions to the green of fertile valleys and the palms of the oases, from high snow capped mountains to arid landscapes and crowded cityscapes, Morocco is a land of contrasts. Here is a sample:
on a spit across from the Hassan II mosque in Casa Blanca
Fez as night descends.  This was the last day of Ramadan and at exactly the minute the sun has dropped to the right spot, a cannon (or similar) was fired.
My kind of road.  


note snow on the High Atlas Mountains.  It was pretty hazy and it doesn't show up well but you can see that it is there.  The windy road above is the main road over the mountain range.
